Daniel Friesen
Learning Specialist, Science Teacher, & Academic Coach
As a licensed science teacher, having worked in multiple schools in the Central Oregon area, not only Daniel has not only gained an expert understanding of science and academic content itself, but how implementation and design affects the learning process for all students. In addition to his vast experience teaching middle and high school students, he has also been a reading specialist, mentor, a cross country running and XC coach, and has completed significant coursework (almost finished!) in educational therapy and executive function.
Daniel is an Oregon native, an exceptional long distance runner and athlete who has won and podiumed at some of the state’s most prestigious events. He has three adorable children and lives in Bend.
