“Take Charge, Unlock Your High School Potential”

Succeeding in high school is not about intelligence; it is about strategy, proactivity, and utilizing executive function.

HS3 is a learning and coaching group built to equip students with the skills and understanding to help them successfully transition from their 8th grade year to high school. Through a series of small group sessions we dive into executive function, the science behind how the brain works, how the high school system works, and how we can use proactivity to build confidence and success in 9th grade and beyond.

Details:

  • Length: Six 75 minute sessions

  • When: 2:30pm on 8/22, 8/29, 9/5, 9/11, 9/18, & 9/25

  • Location: 1345 NW Wall Street Suite 200

  • Cost: $400 if enrolled by 5/30, $450 after 6/1

    *Scholarships available for select families that qualify.

Topics will include:

  • The key practices of successful students to get the grades you want

  • Basic principles of organization to manage High School life

  • Creating the optimal homework routine and staying ahead

  • ADHD, Focus and Attention (even if you don’t have ADHD!)

  • How to conquer anxiety, avoidance, and increase motivation

  • Neuroscience & Brain Anatomy to support executive functioning

  • The basics of the studying cycle for High School tests

  • Hear key advice from last year’s 9th grade class

  • How to reduce stress at home with parents

Working with a small group brings collaboration to solving the issues that you may face, and show you that you aren’t alone in being stressed about high school.

You will emerge with:

  • A personalized organization routine for time and tasks

  • An efficient binder system to support your high school course-load

  • A personalized academic skills assessment

  • An personalized executive function assessment

  • A personalized game-plan and set of strategies for how to be proactive in high school
